Today at work was stressful at times, overwhelming at the end of the day, and has left me feeling sad/discouraged. Teaching is hard job, but being bipolar with OCD and teacher makes it doubly hard. By the end of the day, I tend to feel like my brain is mush. I want to go home and do nothing but veg out. Does anyone else feel this way? Any suggestions for working but managing stress from work while having a mental illness?
I feel the same. So much so, I had to take a few months off which turned into no job since March and like you, I search the answer to the same question that you have.

I have bipolar disorder and OCD as well. I work with seniors. I really enjoy it and love seniors but it is mentally exhausting for me at times. I take my medications as prescribed. see a psychologist regularly and spend a lot of time alone when I get home. Not good but I need to not think for a little while sometimes after work. My psychologist has really helped me a lot in balancing my life.
