      1. No idea. I had extremely bad depression for most of this year. I have bipolar and schizoaffective disorder. I had to wait it out. I took my meds. They changed my meds. I forced myself to do things that I needed to do. I wrote and vented. I went to counselling. I spent time with my family when I could. It eventually passed.

      1. As you know, I can relate to ALL of the feelings you are having. I have been to three inpatient centers and I don’t think any of them really worked – outside of the med changes they instituted. All of that self-talk and mindfulness stuff doesn’t seem to work for me. I can tell myself all sorts of things…but I never actually believe it.

      2. No. When I went in the first time (Aug of ’12) they took me off Prozac and put me on Lexapro, Remeron, and something else. I was on that combo for two years. When I went in the second time (Aug of ’15, different facility), they took me off of every except Lamictal, which they bumped. I believe they wanted to change my Lexapro to Wellbutrin, but I wouldn’t let them as I had a bad experience with it some years earlier. After getting out, I basically went back on the same thing I had been on. When I went in the third time (Jan of ’16, another different facility), I was taken off of Vyvanse, kept in Lamictal and Lexapro, and added in Resperidone. Once I got out, I went back on the Vyvanse. I now have switched off of Lexapro and onto Zoloft.

My therapist thinks I need a combination of Abilify and Zoloft, likely keeping the Lamictal. Not sure on the Vyvanse though. I’d prefer to be on something like it though as it helps my concentration some and has antidepressant qualities.
